Document Status/Conditions

Status TypeStatus Type Description
CANCELLEDThe authority to deal has been cancelled by the Department. The authority is no longer valid for Export.
CLEARThe goods covered by the document are authorised for export and may be dealt with.
EMBARGOEDA country code subject to UN Sanctions has been detected by Customs. Please contact Customs
ERRORThe goods covered by the document cannot be dealt with.
EXPIRED (Carrier Manifest, Reported, Self or Tally)Customs does not expect further quotation of the related CAN.
REJECTEDThe document has been rejected due to errors. Please correct and re-send the message.
REVOKEDThe goods have not been exported within the allowed period after the notified date of exportation. A new EDN/CRN should be lodged to export the goods.
SUSPENDEDCustoms has temporarily stopped the authority to deal.
VALIDATIONThe lodged or amended information has not passed the required edits.
WITHDRAWNThe export declaration or cargo report has been withdrawn by the reporting party and may not be dealt with.

Notice Status

Status TypeStatus Type Description
CLEARThe Notice has been accepted by Customs.
ERRORThe Notice has been placed into error. Please amend the errored data.
REJECTEDThe Notice has been rejected due to errors. Please correct and re-send the message.
WITHDRAWNThe Notice has been successfully withdrawn.

Movement Status

Status TypeStatus Type Description
CONSOLIDATEThe reported export shipment may be consolidated.
DO NOT CONSOLIDATEThe reported export shipment may not to be consolidated. Receival notice may contain incorrect information.
DO NOT LOADThe reported export shipment may not to be loaded. Receival notice may contain incorrect information.
HOLD FOR CUSTOMSDo Not Release. The reported export shipment is of interest to Customs.
LOAD The reported export shipment may be loaded.
MATCH The AHECCs and net quantities on the notice match those on the Export Declaration.
NO MATCH A discrepancy exists between the AHECCs or net quantities on the notice and those on the Export Declaration.
REJECTEDThe transaction has been rejected due to errors. Please correct and re-send the message.

Status Usage

The following table contains the meanings of the symbols represented in the Status Usage column of the Export Status Type table. These symbols are joined to represent a code that details where the particular status is reported in a response message.

This code is made up of a combination of the status type and level at which the status will appear. Each code is linked to the following status usage table.

Example:

NH - N=Notice; H=Header Level. This means that the Notice Status appears at the Header level.
